Resolving the Scholarly Communication Crisis

This research critically analyzed the literature to determine the viability of Open Access (OA) as a publishing model alternative to the traditional publishing model.  The literature indicated that OA has not yet overtaken the traditional subscriber pays model generally espoused by the major publishers.
